Re: Networking Groups - downside?

Most of these networking groups require minimal
information to join, and let you control how much
of it is visible to others.  For the few I have joined
for business, all that is visible is my name, a list
of some of my past employers and clients and
the other members of the network whose invites
I have accepted (I don't send invites).

I haven't joined any "personal" online social
networks.
