David,

If that's the only thing she curses you for, you will be in
line for parent of the century:).

That said, I tend to use the full year because, at least during
these early years of the century, there's no ambiguity as to
the year: i.e., is 20090108 is clearly January 8, 2009 and not
Sept 1, 2008; 090108 isn't as clear.
