Thanks to all who responded. Useful suggestions.

Our training group has developed a guide in Word and are wrestling with Style issues. (They were forewarned.) Methinks cost justifying another FrameMaker seat just became a bit easier.

Hi Amelia,

The easiest way to do this, if a small amount of text, is to take all of the text, without the paragraph marker. If there is character formatting, simply select the text and press Ctrl+Space to go to the default formatting.

Hope this is helpful.

When copying and pasting text from one Word document to another, is there a way to prevent the styles from the original document from entering the style list of the destination document?

Thanks in advance.
