Have a look at this website...
www.idratherbewriting.com

Superb resource. Great podcasts, even some great how-to podcasts, great
screencasts and all round great content...for free for all information
developers, and technical communicators.

Is there a room for podcasting? The website shows there is.

I believe www.lynda.com
Has a nice video on Videocasting/podcasting

I am a student researching whether or not there is a future for podcasts in
the field of Technical Communication and/or Technical Writing. Could it be
true that blogging and especially Wikis would have a better fit? Are there
drawbacks to podcasting for Technical Writers? Do they serve a purpose in
your field?

Lori
