question about concatenate function displaying quotation marks (Excel 2000)
Subject:question about concatenate function displaying quotation marks (Excel 2000) From:"Milan Davidovic" <milan -dot- lists -at- gmail -dot- com> To:"techwr-l List" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Mon, 27 Oct 2008 11:10:12 -0400
I'm setting up an Excel 2000 spreadsheet to create text that I can put
into callouts for a master markup I'm creating. The text is to read:
Replace "xxx" with "yyy".
The sheet has three columns:
Column 1 contains the "xxx" text
Column 2 contains the "yyy" text.
Column 3 contains the formula =CONCATENATE("Replace ",C2," with ",D2,".")
I'm looking for a way to get the formula to put the quotation marks
around the xxx and yyy texts rather than having to put them in Columns
1 and 2
