The account I use here has had a fairly dramatic increase in Spam, often
related to the topics I reply to or post on this list. I've done some
research and found that the only places I've found my email address exposed
to search engines has been from this list.
(This is not an accusation, but a valid concern)
As an example, I've entered my the first part of my email into google (the
name before the "@") and voila...there it is. And ONLY coming from this
list.
The final break on this came moments ago when I responded to the 3D graphics
question and within minutes of the message being posted received a spam
message entitled "RE: Re: Who uses 3-D graphics?"
