Is Vista "there" yet?

Subject: Is Vista "there" yet?

Here it is practically June of 2008... is Microsoft Vista ready to be
used in real life, yet?

Or is my [possibly] preferred laptop vendor still correct in offering
ONLY versions of XP as the pre-installed OS?

Also, I notice that this vendor offers Wireless options 802.11b/g or
a/g.... whatup with "n" that was _going_ to be the next standard, last
time I was looking for a wireless network card about two years ago - are
we stalled at "g"??

Again, I'm asking about real life, not spec-sheet heaven.

Thanks,

Kevin
