Technically, no. What happens is that your brain notices
and remembers color in your dreams commensurate with
how important it is to the dream. So whether you remember
a dream as being in color or being colorless once you wake
up depends on how the color fits into your dream. For most
men, action is more important than form so they remember
actions vividly but tend not to remember color, while for most
women it is the reverse. This varies from person to person,
and many people can have dreams in either mode.
