I've been suffering for a long time with Word. I'm wondering if anyone
knows of a setting to turn this OFF.
When I make a selection in a document and want to format that selection
specifically, instead of just applying the formatting to my selection,
the entire document gets the formatting applied to it and then I have to
undo which then applies the formatting to what I originally wanted to
format.
It's maddening and slows me down.
I get the same behavior in Word 2003 & 2007-does anyone know of a way
out??
Thanks for all who took the time to offer opinions on my recent "How to"
question, my I am confident in my dislike for the whole thing.
