I think blogging is an expansion of the urge you get
when you see something cool to share it with all your
friends. If I have thoughts on an issue or technology,
I can post them and get feedback on them. If I've seen
a really cool web site or an interesting news article,
I can share it. If I'm stranded in an airport after
travel nightmares, I have an immediate place to bitch
about it and have people sympathize. And so on...
