If you already know that the freelancer is taking 5-10 times
longer than you to do "the easy part," you are already doing
as good a job of "tracking" his work as you need to be doing.
"What is wrong there" is:
1. The guy takes 5-10 times as long as you to do work
you consider "the easy part.".
2. You let him.
