In my hypothetical example, I was assuming the employee was NOT
accurately informed of the hours when he/she took the job. (Perhaps, on
inquiring, they were told "We work a 40 hour week plus some extra at
peak times.") I was assuming the employer's demands arose--and
grew--afterwards. I didn't make that 100% clear...
