A quick run through E-bay shows that I can spend anywhere from $60 to
$400 for a graphics pad. I have several notes out to sellers trying to
find out if the item they're offering will work on a laptop running Win
98 SE -- they don't always specify the system requirements.

Caveat emptor to be sure, but I might have a new toy soon! And I
actually could justify it for my job but I'd still want it to work on my
laptop.
