I used to sing in college fests. I am talking about the years 1998 to 2001.
Then I started to work, but at the back of my mind, I always wanted to
become a singer. I still have miles to go before I realize my dream.

I have been singing on and off -- at office parties; karaoke events at food
courts and five-star hotels; tech writer conferences and meetups.

When I started to work for Samsung, South Korea, the first thing I looked
for in my dorm was a "Noray Bang" or a "Music Room." Thanks to sites like
the YouTube, and several others, I can now download Karaoke renditions of
some of the most popular artists, and practice my vocal chords at leisure.
What fun!
