Way back in the day, there were System Analysts who were merged into
Programmer/Analysts and then the analyst part disappeared for awhile
only to re-emerge as Business Analysts.

Reminds of the 1990s when Programmer was all the rage.
Then Programmer fell out of favor and Developer became the favored
title.
I understand the Writer vs. Communicator controversy, but I find myself
liking Digital Scribe.
Doubt the Fed Govt. has a handle on THAT title yet. Grin.
