Hmm... Instead of seeking certified writers (if such a thing existed), an employer should use employment agencies and headhunters. But you say employment agencies and headhunters use "stupidware" and "broken squishware" to read "buzzwords" on resumes. Expressed that way, they don't seem like an improvement.

I would agree that certification should not be granted on the basis of a resume. Beyond that, this line of argument doesn't seem worth pursuing.
