A few clarifications:

1. First, "people" don't move. Not all people are the same. They have
different degrees of web and computer knowledge. So when we speak about
"people," I have to ask, which people?

2. I don't believe in trends.

3. I don't believe it's an absolute difference. Most high performance
high traffic sites I see that are competently admined are moving away
from trying a pure CSS model, toward using tables for layout
positioning and CSS for visual formatting.

4. You might ask yourself why this has come about:
http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/

Yes, I've used computers for a long time, and disagreed with
"prevailing wisdom" for much of it. And as it turns out, in many cases,
time bears out my judgment.

If you or others want to argue with me about it, I'll shrug and say
"you win" because I'm not inclined to care. The argument doesn't decide
anything. Time will tell. HTH
