Dvorak a "good" technology writer? HAHAHAHAHAHA!

I had to work with him, among others, when the first 486 computers
were launched. He had an outsized ego and wasn't very good at fact
checking then, and the primary thing he has exhibited in the many
years since is consistency...on both counts.

Back then, I also worked with the late lamented Jim Seymour and with
Jerry Pournelle (all three were featured columnists at Byte Magazine
in those days). By far the best technology writer of the three was
Seymour, who was extremely careful to get the facts right and was a
true pleasure to deal with.

One such troubling event is the recurrence use of the term "tech
writer" to apply to "technology writers," or those columnists and
bloggers who write about computers for media outlets of varying sizes.
There are good technology writers (Dvorak) and bad ones, but I want to
gain some distance from those who will always invoke controversy and
those who just want to write some good docs.
