I installed WDS a few days ago, after reading about it here. I just ran a couple of tests and can confirm that I can now find specific text strings in .pdf, .chm & .docx files. Search results are also returned instantaneously. Sure beats the heck out of the standard search tool built into Windows.

Still have a ways to go as far as indexing the 400 gigs of stored info I have here...
