You generally only need a second "will" for the second phrase if the second
phrase is confusing without it.  In this case, the second "will" may become
more confusing with the second phrase because the second phrase will sound
separate from the first one.  If you add "will" to the second phrase, then
you should qualify "it."  Otherwise, if this were a more complex sentence,
the reader will read "he will write his name on it" and the reader will not
know what "it" represents.  This sentence is very simple and is fine the way
it is.  A very complex sentence may need additional clarification.
