Oh no! Al, my intention has not been to hurt you or anyone else at all. I am
sorry if you feel that way. I am relatively new to the list and so far I
have not seen anyone speaking openly for a product in such a situation.
Personally, I have not come across such intense rivalry for market share.
You can try googling Adobe InDesign vs Quark and you will be amazed to see
the kind of stuff that is going around. It will take me five minutes or so
to let you know of my opinion so far, but I would prefer not to add fuel to
the fire. Moreover, my level of understanding of the products is not enough
to make a comparison. I am still at the initial stages of my project and I
am still not fully sure about the application that I have chosen. Quark and
InDesign are huge applications in terms of functionality and I still have
some distance to cover working with the demos before I firm up my opinion.
I am grateful to all of you, Jim, David, Sheila, for showing me the way and
I in all probability I will be back with more queries in the near future.
I am a writer, and I would prefer to stick to that role. Passing judgements,
especially on a subject about which I am not fully aware, is not my call.

Raj
