...who only knows about "obstreperousness" because she was looking for synonyms for "capricious" to see if they were also based on animals (caprines/goats, who are well-described by "capricious"). No, there is no such critter as an obstreper, but the definition of "obstreperous" does include a reference to boisterous children. Which, although a bit sexist, does carry the possibility of a relationship to boys.

Just reminding myself to lighten up with the word thang today.
