Tools: An "RTFM" caution concerning the new MacBooks

Just spotted this in the current issue (number 63) of Anne-Marie  
"HerGeekness" Concepcion's _DesignGeek_ newsletter. Apparently, the  
new MacBooks are a bit more reluctant to actually go to sleep than  
older Mac laptops, and throwing one into your backpack before it's  
truly asleep could be a problem. Here's the actual warning gleaned  
from Reading The Fine Manual: "NOTICE: Wait a few seconds until the  
sleep indicator light starts pulsing (indicating that the computer is  
in sleep and the hard disk has stopped spinning) before moving your  
MacBook Pro. Moving your computer while the disk is spinning can  
damage the hard disk, causing loss of data or the inability to start  
up from the hard disk."

"A few seconds" can apparently be as much as 30 seconds, so Mac- 
laptopper beware!

It's a fun and informative newsletter, particularly if you're deeply  
into InDesign and Photoshop. Issue 63 isn't yet up on her site
