"Point to" or "point at" is too technical for some of my users. They won't know what pointing a browser means. I don't use "navigate" or "browse to," either. I just tell them to "go."

I was taught that pointing is rude. I usually say something to the effect
of, "Open a web browser and go to the web address www.example.com."; Less
savvy audiences may need a longer explanation about browsers and URLs and
such, while more savvy audiences may only require, "Go to www.example.com.";
If the web browser is already opened, then for the less savvy user I say,
"Enter www.example.com in the address bar and press Enter." Otherwise, "go
to..." still works.
