I agree with Dana. We went the WebHelp route <using RoboHelp> but we are
installing it on the local PC's C:\. We are preparing to release version
2 of WebHelp within the month.

If you are using Windows XP, SP2, the information bar displays when you
open the help in IE. On my list of things to do is to figure out some
javascript to detect if the IB will display and, if it does, to have
text explaining how to correct it display. I have this information on
our default topic. However, the issue is when you open Help from a
window by pressing F1, the default topic is by-passed and the
information is not displayed.

Definitely convert to HTML. Use CHM or browser-based help based upon
your needs. Use a tool like Dreamweaver to edit your code.
