I presumed that in this case it was intended to refer to the
company internally.  Anthony's previous post said he had
an excellent record and rep within the company prior to
coming under the manager in question, yet the disfavor
of that one manager resulted in his termination, without
any effort being made to find another place for him with
some other person or department.
