Hello!
In software applications, why do we explicitly mention the software/hardware
requirements that overlap with the operating system's requirements?
For example,
Windows Vista x64 requirements are:
- 1GHz 64-bit (x64) processor
- 512MB of system memory
- 20GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
- ...
And, Dummy Product's requirements are:
- 1GHz 64-bit (x64) processor
- 512MB of system memory
- 200MB of available hard disk space
Is it alright if we only mention the operating system and the additional
requirements?
The requirements for Dummy Product are:
- Windows Vista x64
- 200MB of available disk space
What do you think about this?
Have a good weekend!
Cheers,
Mayur
