RE: term need: regarding software development

I've often thought that "extensible" is a creation of an ... "engineer." One
for whom neither "extendable" nor "extensive" were sufficient to describe
the concept of a system of meta tags that may be extended in an ever-more
extensive library.

Why not "expansible" to describe the ability of practitioners to expand the
library into infinity?

Use of the word, as opposed to the TLA (three-letter abbreviation) almost
always causes me to gag, a tendency that I fight constantly. Except, of
course, when in the company of like-minded (and right-minded) colleagues. (A
group that appears to be ever more extensible, by the way.)
