Joe's advice is excellent. Use the job boards, yes, but also network
like crazty.

In addition, let me suggest one more thing: set up your own website
and, ideally in a password-protected directory, post your resume and
some carefully selected work samples.

(This needn't cost you anything but time; chances are your Internet
provider already sets aside some Web space for you, and there are many
free HTML editors, e.g., Nvu, available for download.)

That way, when you *get* a nibble, you can direct them immediately to
your professional marketing site and set the hook in their cheek, so
to speak.
