In June I was given a 61-day seperation notice as part of a graduated
company shutdown. I will spare you the ups and downs I experienced over the
weeks since that date, but in the weeks after I accepted a position, I
received numerous requests for interviews and a couple job offers.
Granted, I had some interviews over the summer, but nothing like the flurry
of activity I saw in early to mid-August when my current position came to
be. most of June and July were marked by weeks of no response from companies
I applied at to 1--3 calling within a few days o each other.
