I do. I do!!! I have my entire LP collection (800+) and CD collection
(1,000+) done up. Not in a database, but by genre, alphabetical by
artist, in a Ventura file... with a table of contents.
I also gleaned off all the individual tunes into a file so I can do a
search and find out a song title, and if I have it. Then I go to the
main file and search for it to find out what album it's on.
I started it that way before I had any database software, and now
there's way too much to redo it. So I just add new stuff to the existing
file as it exists.

Subject: RE: Music choices
So, after we get done describing how we each have diverse music
collections,
my question is: who *documents* their music collection, that is, has a
list
of their diverse music collection?
I have an Excel file that allows me to tell you the year a
CD/record/DVD/cassette was added to my collection, going back to 1996.
