I'll echo what several others have said about the HR departments.Point taken, I have just been reading too much Dilbert. My comment was in jest. I don't see the world in an overly stereotypical way. Yes there are talented and intelligent people in HR. That quip drew more fire than I ever thought it would have imagined.
While I imagine you said that in jest, they won't laugh too hard if
they end up seeing that comment from a simple google search on your
name. Besides, every one of the HR departments I have worked with have
been staffed with intelligent and talented people who, at the very
least, were just doing their job.
My thanks to all those on the list for the advice. It is appreciated...
