While you're at it, see if the requestor is aware that it is no longer
a requirement to even have a copyright notice on newly published works. Or perhaps what is really being requested is the *trademark*
notice...?

Maybe you should go back to the person(s) who requested this ability and ask why they need this functionality and then you might be able to propose a different solution...one that won't cost as much. :-) resources and info.
