When I worked in QA it meant that the bug had been sent back for regression testing...they called it "regressed", which to me sounded very confusing.

Unsure since it's never been phrased like that in my experience, but
in heneral, regression testing is when you test a feature or fix
against other features to ensure not only the specific functionality
works but that it breaks nothing else in the application. So if this
is definition is shared among your developers and testers, then I
would guess that "a bug has been regressed" means it has been fixed
and verified to work in the product without affecting other features.
