Although I am jumping in late, I totally agree with your comment.
WordPerfect is a superior tool that has been seriously undermarketed. It is
based on streaming forward so that if you set a style, that style remains
until changed. The master document feature and index feature work quite well
on large documents. The price is reasonable and its reveal codes feature has
saved many hours. I won't bore you with a longer list, but I cannot
understand why it is not used more.
