> "outside the box"
Although I find the phrase as annoying as the next guy it did give way to a
quote that for some reason struck me as funny and very meaningful. One of
my professors in college (that was sort of a mentor to me during my college
days) once told me:
"The mistake that many people make is they will start trying to think
outside the box before knowing exactly what is *inside the box*."
I think he may have put a little better but the idea behind it has stuck
with me for quite some time and will probably continue to.
