I hope you don't have a problem with the test forms having "pregnant
chads." ;<)

This "teaching to the test" nonsense, coupled with all of the other
non-educational, highly-political and "PC" garbage in today's public
school systems (we've encountered it in MI, AZ and now CA) is why I've
counseled my wife to seek a position within the private school arena.

Prior to the new millennium I lived, ate and breathed computer
publications (including everything related to electronic publishing). I
couldn't keep up then. Finally, I decided to "get a life" and stopped
all of subscriptions. Five years later I am woefully ignorant of such
things as RSS feeds, blogging, and the like, so I'm wanting to jump back
in. Part of that incentive, though, comes from my deep interest in music
recognition systems and the convergence of computers and home
entertainment systems.

Once a Sybarite, always a Sybarite. Sigh....
