Well it's the "chick" I take offense to... ;<)

Seriously, years ago I was selling magazine advertising to an elderly
woman who ran her own very successful business. When I explained that
the magazine was co-published by two girls, she jumped all over me,
making it *very clear* that young women are, well, "young women."

Years later I was giving a standup presentation before a large audience
in Richmond, VA. I lived and died by the evaluation forms. Lo' and
behold, one gal (!) chided me for referring to the collective group as
"you guys."

(Makes me want to dig out a certain R. Crumb cartoon dealing with the
artist's feelings about women's lib...)

Chris (who's just having fun this morning)

OK. Perhaps I was over-reacting, but as I stated before the blonde and
cute thing annoyed me. Where are the women on techwhirler? Not one woman

has answered this post, It's guys, and well we all know men and women
think differently.

How about Israel. Major dress restrictions. Armed men everywhere it
seems. It's all a matter of perspective. You have to some how fit in,
just like my Bulgarian exchange student.

I've had good experiences in India, and in the States with Indian
programmers. Now, again, it's all about perspective. I'm a pretty
aggressive chick and can take care of potential problems. Heck, I deal
with it weekly at events in the Midwest. LOL.
