I believe sologig.com lists all kinds of jobs, including programming.

Subject: Where would I find a freelance developer?

I need to find a freelance application developer to do a small project
for a client. I posted the project on guru.com, but I got only two
responses (had I posted a project that consisted of simple Web
development, I'd have gotten a hundred).

Anybody got any favorite sites where freelance programmers hang out
looking for work? Any Usenet group or Web forum where it's considered
polite to post such a project?
