I think that it is useful to say that as an editor you see yourself wearing 2 hats: one representing your employer (their quality standards, tricky controversial issues, ethics, costs and timelines) and one representing your audience eg blah blah). Perhaps you can elaborate on this.


Any suggestions on key elements to emphasize?
