Thnaks for the responses. It confirmed that the
problems aren't unique, and there is no easy solution.
Our web documentation delivery process limits us to
PDF or HTML files at the moment, so I can't provide
an Excel file. We have a major delivery process change
in work, so after the transition, I might be able to
find a way.
I've slowly, very slowly, gathering support to create
a database solution for this problem, but as a small
cog in a very big machine, it's very slow going to
implement major changes such as this.
