100 is fairly small, can't you export the ID files as RTF and import
that into your help authoring tool? It's a lot of rework, but there
you are.

Otherwise, you need to use software that plays nicely with help
authoring tools, like Word or FrameMaker -- not sure why FM would be
just not possible, even for a short doc.

Let us know if the PDF route works out -- I'd just test it if I were you.
