My reflexive reaction was "Teaching writing through videos and DVDs!
Why not teach surgery through automatic weapons and chainsaws?" but
I've calmed down :^>

There's an SNL skit with Ed Asner that might be a good element of any
video presentation on good tech writing. Asner plays the retiring
chief of a nuclear power plant who is going on vacation. His parting
words: "Remember, you can't put too much water in a nuclear reactor."
After he leaves, the staff are arguing over the two meanings of that
phrase. End of the skit, Asner's on vacation, and someone points to a
nuclear explosion out in the distance. Asner hands her his binoculars
and says "Remember, you can't look too long at a nuclear explosion"
before walking off.

The skit "Nuclear Plant Retiree" was on episode 184 which aired in
1984. Yes, I just looked it up.

I can answer any question.
"I don't know" is an answer.
"I don't know yet" is a better answer.
