If you were to draw a flow diagram, you would have two 'diamonds'.
That'd only be one diamond--one path in at the top, two paths out labeled "Yes" ("then") and "No" ("else") at the sides.
What about the case where you are making changes, and DID NOT want to exit, because you had more to do? (In case the computer follows its own mind, and locks up.)
Screens that work that way should include a Save or Apply button, as well as OK and Cancel.
Alternative: Save, Save and Exit, and Exit--lined up next to each other, their meanings would be clear enough, and you could add an "Are you sure?" message before abandoning unsaved changes.
