Dear TECHWR-L folks,

I've only been lurking for a couple of months, but I want to tell you how much I enjoy the list each and every morning, and even on weekends. I learn a lot. I skim a lot. I laugh a lot. I groan a lot :)

I wonder whether any of you have experienced the following problem and, if so, whether you know a solution other than reinstallation of Acrobat 6.0.

I opened a PDF from a Web site. The PDF opened in the browser, per my Acrobat 6.0 settings. Wanting to simplify the view, I right-clicked and deselected all the toolbars. And now I cannot get the buttons back, which means that I can't zoom, save, etc.

I have searched IE help, enabled all add-ins, reset browser settings in Acrobat, searched the Adobe forum, all to no avail. I finally disabled the "open in browser" setting in Acrobat.

Any thoughts?

Carol
