Jens Reineking asks:
- Has anyone some pointers on how to work with XML in OO? E.g. how to use Writer with DocBook?
-----------------------
I looked into this a little, and I couldn't figure out how to add attributes to the docbook tags. Other than that, though, it seemed like an okay idea. You're probably better off going with XMLSpy, the Home Edition is apparently free, you can work with docbook, or any other XML, etc etc.
----------------------
I'd like to write and edit the documentation in OO Writer, export it as XML, import it into InDesign and go on from there.
----------------------
Why the XML export? It seems like an unnecessary step in the process....unless your goal is to maintain all of your documents in XML. In which case, you'd probably be better off going with a tool that was designed for that and leaving OOo out of the picture.
