The only upgrade for a laptop that makes financial sense is memory.
Notebook computer hardware is more expensive, and you can quickly
spend very close to the cost of a baseline notebook. You can replace
the hard drive, but could run into setup problems.

If you have the original setup CD, buy a memory upgrade and reload everything.
