We use VBA for Excel to facilitate the creation of context-sensitive help.
I maintain a series of procedures that read our software's program forms,
identify entry fields, add them to spreadsheets for review and editing,
read the edited spreadsheets, add bookmarks to RoboHelp, and create an XML
help file.

A move away from VBA would significantly affect us.
