I feel so low tech, we just use email lists. They are set up by IT and list
membership is negotiated with the appropriate manager. For example, we might
have R&D All and R&D Toronto as choices.
Manual setup, but it makes it easier to distribute material to groups you do
not know. Also, each email profile (properties) indicates the lists to which
each person belongs.
