I have followed this thread with varied interest. I think Sharon and
Walden provided some of the more valuable insight. I too think we should
let this thread go the way of the do-do.
I would however like to throw one last log on the fire in closing. I see
my writing much like how Michelangelo saw his David. There is a block of
marble and I have to cut away to get to my David. I use different
chisels, different hammers, and whatnot to get the desired result.
There are certain written rules and certain unwritten rules that I
follow and sometimes break. I believe there is no set way to get from
Point A to Point B. What works for writing Procedure A will not
necessarily work when writing Procedure B.
Writing to me is a constant evolving process as are the methods used.
